The gold and elixir storage’s are placed in each compartment accordingly. Tesla’s are placed in the outer compartment to defend the enemy troops.Let’s have a look at the first best th8 defense base. This base has centralized dark elixir storage that is surrounded by four tesla’s. Town hall 8 and clan castle are surrounded from one side and from another end.

Hero’s are placed along with the tesla’s which makes a good combination. For example, we assume the enemy is attacking and at the center of the compartment, hero’s defend them at ease. The rest of the non defensive structures and gold and elixir mines are placed outside the core compartment surrounding the entire base.

This defense base has a unique construction having an open compartment which makes it harder for opponent troops to go into the core compartment. The enemy troops go around the base but won’t go inside. The outside compartment is composed of the storage and some of the defensive structures. This layout design has well-placed air defenses that will be good at defending air troops.

The first level 8 base in the list has so many compartments which makes it harder to take out the entire loot for ground troops. In case, If the attacker is using air troops like balloons or lavaloon strategy, air defenses are placed very well rooted in the core of the village.The Air sweeper are nicely pointing on both the sides oppositely. But as you know air troops are overpowered at town hall 8 so, it is necessary that every time you fill up your clan castle with troops that can defend both air and ground troops when you are away from the village.
